Fundraising in March

March is a busy month with Spring break and nice weather around the corner. Our group is organizing during this month and working hard towards our ultimate goal of a new park. Below are the fundraisers going on right now:

- Aluminum can drive-
Any aluminum cans can be brought to Bryant's Hardware or will be picked up if you contact us (442-0030). We are still looking for a trailer to weld a cage onto in order to place around the city to get more support. If anyone has one they wouldn't mind loaning the group for a while please call us. Winfield raised $7000 for their park this way and I'm sure we could do the same.

- Save the Sidewalks coffee can drive-
Local businesses are placing coffee and Pringles cans by their cash registers for us in order to accept small donations for the group. We know the economy is trying right now but if you have any spare pocket change please feel free to toss it in the can. Even the smallest of contributions helps. If you know a business that doesn't have a can but would like one please contact us.

-Skater Garage Sale/ Bake Sale-
March 21st in the parking lot behind Bryant's Hardware (102 S. Summit). The sale will be going from 7a.m. until 3p.m. or until we run out of stuff to sell. We are still accepting donations at Bryant's Hardware so if you have anything unwanted in your basement, closet or garage let us know. We will come pick stuff up if need be or you can once again drop it off at Bryant Hardware. We also need cookies, cakes, rolls and the like so if you know how to cook please bring any bake sale goods to Bryant's on the 21st for the bake sale.
